To ensure the safe delivery of your media to our AesonLabs™ Data Recovery facility, please follow these instructions carefully.
1. Find a box at least twice it's size.
This is a safety precaution to reduce movement and ensure ther is no further damage your media. Note: Without an alternate media storage device, an additional fee with be added to your finalized price. If you are shipping more than one item, ensure that they will not come into contact during shipment. If there is a chance this could happen, we strongly recommend you ship your media in two separate boxes to reduce any chances of further damage.
2. Protective material.
Ensure box is filled with lots of protective material that is anti-vibration, anti-shock and anti-static - such as bubble wrap or foam - to prevent further damage and prevent movement during shipment. Whether you want to recover deleted files or simply have a mechanical problem fixed, your media storage device may still acquire damages during shipment.
3. Name and Case ID.
Make sure your case ID# and our address is written clearly and legibly. Without this information, we cannot proceed with data recovery.
4. Drop if off at a nearest UPS Store.
Once you have prepared your media for shipment, simly place the FREE prepaid UPS Shipping label on the container and drop if off at the nearest local UPS post office.
